All, My elderly MacBook Pro has just died. When I press the power button it makes its characteristic initial start-up noise and the its LED indicator lights up, but there's no start-up chime and the display doesn't switch-on. It behaves in the same way whether the the power adaptor is plugged in or not. Any ideas?
