Also SSDs are silent, good for us tinnitus sufferers. I’ve just replaced the 
hard drive in my Sky+ box with a quieter one and that’s made a big difference 
too.

Oddly enough the most attractive thing to me about the new MacPro is the 
near-silent operation ;)
