Phil,

I'd switch to song list view, click on one of the column headers and add 
"Purchase Date" (or Date Added as appropriate) then sort them by that date by 
clicking that header. I expect, as was the case for me, that all your 
unauthorised Apple ID ones will be those before a certain date. Sadly they 
don't you select Apple ID as a column (I assume they expect it to always be the 
same!)

I had over a 150 and didn't want to lose them hence my perseverance. Apple 
sorely tried my patience and sanity but I got my songs back in the end!
