I want to get a 4K TV to replace my JVC LS-32DS75SJ to which I have my Late 2009 Mac mini connected. Now the TV & Mac are incompatible but I've managed for five years using the Mini-DVI to HDMI for picture and the Ear phone jack to Phono L&R Line in (red & white) for sound. The JVC has all combination of connections so getting HDMI & Line in together was simple.
The connections on the latest tv's are no so comprehensive, non seem to separate HDMI-Line in, and think the only connection possible is Mini-DVI to RGB with line in, that's a group of five Phono Red Green Blue Red L-R White, but will not get any up scaling just 1080p Help in overcoming this would be appreciated.
