To anyone who wondered what all this was about I have found the solution. 18+1 DVI-D to HDMI with Integrated Audio on eBay.
The cable is a DVI to HDMI or vice versa, but with the addition of 3.5mm mini jack to plug into ear phone socket, there is one at either end to use depending which way your going. So problem solved. Rather reminds me of a message Jason Kitcat wrote on the 28sep 2004 requesting members to look else where to solve there problem before contacting the list. Well that's what I have been doing without success since I got the Mac mini (5 years), contacted the list without success, tried again and there it was. It's all down to what you ask, and how you ask it. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to one and all.
