Hi Toby, Got the cable on Monday and it doesn't work. I used the Apple supplied mini DVI to DVI adaptor with the new DVI to HDMI cable plugged the mini jack into the ear phone socket and the HDMI into the TV. Video ok but no audio, my TV has three options for HDMI analog, digital, & auto, so recon since it's fairly old and supplied a plethora of phono sockets for audio it not expecting an audio signal via the HDMI, which is the opposite to the latest which expect audio in via HDMI when using HDMI, and only expect audio via line in when using RGB. I will need to try the setup on a new TV to see if this is all correct. I hope this all makes sense and I'll know after Christmas so I'll report back ASAP. Michael
