I have BT power line adapters x 2 : one next door to my router, another near my Sky box and all works fine.
If I add another, in another room, to a second Mac to share the internet connection, do they have to be of the same type…i.e. BT branded? I only ask as I tried another brand of power line plug that I had lying around and it doesn’t seem to want to connect and Airport on the second Mac wants various addresses to configure. Thanks.
