Hello, I'd be grateful for any advice regarding what I think maybe my dying hard drive in my 2012 13inch MacBook Pro 500gb 16gb ram. Recently it seems to have been slow or crashing and I've just noticed it's got 'failed' by the S.M.A.R.T indicator. Naturally I'm backing up as soon as possible but my question is can anyone suggest a 500gb SSD? So far I've spotted this samsung one on Amazon.
Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB 2.5-Inch Solid State Drive. Would this work on a Mac or are their differences between solid state drives?
