Hello,
Can I update on my experience re:the ssd drive - unfortunately carbon copy
cloner confirmed my fears that the original drive was too damaged to be able to
clone. So I've installed Yosemite on the ssd (Samsung 500gb evo) as an external
USB drive. My question is can I just replace my damaged drive with the ssd and
will it boot as normal ?

Much appreciative for any help,

Adrian
