Hi. For the last 18 months or so I’ve been having trouble with my BT broadband. Very speeds but often slow, the iMac was forever dropping connection and eventually I signed up to Zen. The Fritzbox arrived before Christmas, and I was connected to Zen in the 27th. Connected everything up and for 2 days all was perfect. Then on the 29th the internet connection began dropping. It is fine on my iPad and phone, but the iMac just can’t seem to connect most of the time and if it does connect drops in seconds.. So I plugged in my old MacBook (white, intel) and it coons to fine. But won’t charge.
Is there anything I can do to get the iMac which is upstairs to connect and hold a connection? It is driving me to distraction!!! So strange that it worked well for 2days. I’m beginning to wonder if my problems have been the iMac all along and not BT? Thanks Andrew And Happy New Year all!
