Batteries are generally not covered as they’re expected to fail. I’ve been to the apple store with a 2 year old battery which has swollen and warped the case of a MacBook Pro, they told me “that’s just what batteries do when they die”.
They’re easily user replaceable though, you can get a decent one on Amazon for around £60, it’ll come with tools. Regards Sam MacAmbulance Ltd.
