FYI: I just connected my Logitech K380 and the onscreen keyboard slid down as expected. But, if I press a key on the top row of the K380, the onscreen keyboard re-appears and I can use either to type on “at the same time”.
So, it’s possible to have both, but it should be YOUR choice, not that of iPadOS. Maybe there is a setting On the iPad or a stuck key on the Folio if it even offers an option to do the same thing.
