Have you enabled DLNA on the new MyCloud drive? That’s usually how TVs automatically detect media files on a network drive.

I can access this new drive on my iMac, iPad and iPhone but not on my Sony Bravia TV. I used to be able to play video files from the old drive on this TV. Attached is a screen shot of my Finder showing the situation - the old and now missing drive still shows up as "My Cloud-1RRF6A". The new drive shows as "Philip's M..ud Home". I have tried dragging the new drive into the Network file but am asked to click "Authenticate". Where is the "authenticate" tick box? I can't see it anywhere. Finally, would trying to move the new drive into this Network file be a good idea or would it mess everythng up? Has anyone got the time to advise me? I'm obviously ignorant of this type of file handling! Good wishes, Phil T -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Sussex Mac User Group" group.
