| Hi Martin, That sounds a little odd. I had the 2nd gen iPad Pro 11” from new in 2018 and only replaced it when the M4 version was released. The battery had lost some capacity but I was still pretty happy with it when I got the M4. My 2018 iPad Pro had the battery check and power history in the Settings app so I don’t see why yours wouldn’t. That feature gets updated each OS but I’m sure mine had it back in 2018. You may have some app that it using a lot of power. I had a pair of KEF LSX wireless speakers and found my iPad had gone down in battery dramatically recently and when I looked in the battery usage data it was KEF’s Control app which had used 50% of the battery and all I’d done was increase the volume on the speakers and it was sitting “doing nothing” in the background. I now quit it as soon as I’ve finished with it. If you can’t check what is going on then maybe they can do an analysis at the Apple Store. Cheers, Stephen You meet your destiny on the road you take to avoid it. ~ Carl Jung On 20 Nov 2025, at 12:18, Martin <[email protected]> wrote:
