Like I said previously...my
oldest sister is childless by choice (said when she was a teenager she never
wanted kids) but she has been teaching for 27 years. Her kids all love her and
come back to visit. She has been invited to ex-student's weddings, high school
and college graduations, baby christenings, etc...

I know teachers who LOVE
kids......from things I've heard from several, it's why most do it. It
certainly isn't the pay. lol
But I'll give you this.....I'm
sure and have always said it takes a certain "type" of person. It certainly
isn't everyone's cup of tea that's for sure....

I
guess b/c I've been around so many kids, some whose parents do discipline
them and they are still brats that I just don't like them much anymore. Try
being a substitute teacher for a year and see how well you like kids when
you are done.
My sentiments exactly....
:)

What is the sense of hating kids that
had the misfortune of getting sorry parents that arent worth anything ?
Not their fault.
I have a hatred for kids. At least kids that don't know how to
behave and whose parents have never punished them. LOL> I know what
she was doing, but I do agree with the basic premise of the
article.
I don't think her point
was so much about that, as it was her hatred for kids in general. The
whole article just dripped it.....
If you ask me the
article was a thinly veiled attempt at justifying her hatred for
kids.
