Very true.....most of the places I've worked haven't had any specific rules or policies against it, unless it was between management and non management, however, now at the radio station, they don't say anything about it at all, but they tell e'one that any fraternization will be spread around to e'one by the end of the day b/c gossip is so bad there.

Or if there is a specific policy against fraternization.

It would depend on how they felt about me also. Sometimes workplace romances aren't always the best idea in the world, but a couple of the best marriages I know came from workplace romances.

I think the only time it's really best to avoid mixing business and romance is when it is employer/employee. It opens up the employer for sexual harassment charges if the romance goes sour and opens up the employee to the possibility of rumors that he/she is sleeping his/her way to the top. Not to mention when and if the romance went sour it could make things very difficult between the employer and employee, especially if it was a bad break up.

If you were single and began to feel strongly attracted to someone you saw regularly at work, would you be inclined to avoid or seek romantic involvement?

Do you think it is important to avoid mixing business and romance?
If you and an employee of yours became lovers, do you think you would be able to keep your professional and personal interactions separate?
Would you even try?
In what ways would you find it difficult to work for the person you now love?
