The RDS website http://www.proptwisters.org/rds2/index.html has a section
on spoilers that details a simple direct drive. It involves the Kimbrough
Products Molded coupler servo accessory, item #500, that caps the output
gear and an L- shaped shaft that extends from the coupler and enters a slot
under the spoiler. Springs, strings, tubes, toothpicks, rubber bands,
Kevlar, weights, magnets, etc, all seem to require a lot of fuss and never
do seem to consistently seat the spoiler flush with the wing.
