So from this (and another mail I got off the exchange from R.H.), it looks
like Multiplex had their RF modules approved by the FCC to allow crystal
swapping while some other makers have not.  Note that the swapping must be
done with MPX crystals only as the approval is for manufacturer's parts
only.  I wonder what the complete list is:

            TX crystal swapping
            -------------------
Multiplex:          OK
JR:                 banned
Futaba:             ???
etc?:               ???
etc?:               ???
etc?:               ???

Anybody want to add their favorite radio to this list so we can have a
reference of which radios can swap and which can't?
