George, JB is not the only one that would know this-I also have 2002 Vette, and all the '97--'04 Vettes have balsa wood floor pans. They use fiberglass sandwich istead of the CF. The best part of the '97--'02 is that I can get 3-5 sailplanes in the back of my coupe, alomg with a winch, battery, turnaround and everything else I need for a day of flying. With a little help from the Chicago crew to bring my easy-up, I,ve had enough in there for a week at the NATS, and hope to do it again this year.
