According to the two, Swagbucks is using Pledgeling to manage its employee giving, as part of a program where Swagbucks gives each of its employees $50 to donate to the charity of their choice. The companies said that the funds are credited directly to an employee's Pledgeling wallet, to let the individual donate to multiple charities through Pledgeling's mobile application or website. Pledgeling recently raised $4.1M from Double M Partners and angels, including Vanna White and Chris Harrison. DealerSocket Buys Product Line From Dealertrack ---- San Clemente-based DealerSocket, which develops software for auto dealers, said Thursday that it has acquired the Inventory+ business of Dealertrack. the two said that DealerSocket will pay approximately $55M in cash for the business line. Inventory+ is used by car dealers to manage their automotive inventory. The deal also includes Dealertrack's eCarlist websites, as well as the team behind the business line. The transaction is related, and contingent upon, a separate acquisition of Dealertrack by Cox Automotive. DealerSocket is led by Jonathan Ord. ParkMe Wins Texas A&M ---- Los Angeles-based ParkMe, the real time parking information app developer, has scored a win over at Texas A&M University, the company said this week, to allow customers to purchase electronic parking passes online. ParkMe said Texas A&M will allow customers to pre-purchase electronic parking passes online or on their smartphones for parking facilities near the university's football stadium, Kyle Field, for the 2015 football season. Financial impact of the win was not announced. The deal covers 1,750 parking spaces near the field. Rustic Canyon Re-Ups On Cancer Portal Developer ---- Los Angeles-based venture investor Rustic Canyon Partners has re-upped on an investment in cancer portal developer Navigating Cancer, in a new, $10M investment. Navigating Cancer--which is based in Seattle--develops web-based portal software used by cancer treatment centers and programs. The round was led by Merck Global Health Innovation Fund, and also included ORIX Healthcare Capital in addition to the investment by Rustic Canyon Partners. Rustic Canyon was a prior investor in Navigating Cancer.
