The company's Snapbot vending machine has landed in Tulsa, Oklahoma, according to the Spectacles "Find a bot" feature this morning. Snapchat (whose parent company is now Snap Inc.) said it will be moving its Snapbot vending machine approximately every 24 hours or so. http://www.socaltech.com/snapchat_s_spectacles_bot_lands_in_tulsa_oklahoma/s-0068041.html Cornerstone OnDemand Signs Italian Fashion Brand ---- Santa Monica-based human capital management software developer Cornerstone OnDemand has signed on Italian luxury menswear brand Canali as its newest customers. Cornerstone OnDemand said Canali is implementing its talent management software to better recruit, develop, and manage its people. Financial impact of the customer win was not announced. CSOD said that Canali has nearly 1,800 employees across Europe, the United States, Hong Kong, and China. Ixia Launches New Security Testing Product For Hyperscale Data Centers ---- Calabasas-based network testing software and hardware developer Ixia announced this morning that it has launched a new product, CloudStorm, to provide network security testing of hyperscale cloud data centers. The company said the product will test and validate the increased capacity, efficiency, and resiliency of hyperscale cloud data centers, including how well those centers can handle SSL traffic and Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks. The new product can simuate mixed applications, malicious traffic, and other network traffic to test those data center designs. Pricing on the new product was not announced by the company. Yardi Signs Atlanta Braves ---- Santa Barbara-based property management and accounting software developer Yardi has signed on the Braves Development Company, the property development organization attached to the Atlanta Braves, the company reported this morning. Yardi said The Braves Development Company will use its software to manage properties at a 1.5 million square foot mixed-use development next to SunTrust Park. Financial impact of the win was not announced. RealD Names New CFO ---- Beverly Hills-based 3D movie projection system developer RealD announced on Monday that it has named Jeff Spain as the comapny's new Chief Financial Officer. Spain was previously CFO of Rentech Inc. RealD said that Spain has over 20 years of experience with public, venture, and private equity-backed companies. Qualcomm, Tencent Create New Center In China ---- San Diego-based Qualcomm, and Chinese company Tencent said this morning that the two companies have created a new, Joint Innovation Center in China, which will focused on developing immersive mobile user experiences in gaming and entertainment. The strategic relationship--between Qualcomm Wireless Communication Technologies (China) Limited and the Interactive Entertainment Group (IEG) of Tencent--will include a joint innovation center designed to explore new user gaming and application experience, according to the two. The two companies did not say how much they are investing in the new center. Stop, Breathe & Think Rolls Out Links to Kik, Slack ---- Los Angeles-based mobile app developer Stop, Breathe, & Think, which helps users use meditation to improve their mental wellness, reduce stress, and promote positivity, said on Monday that it has connected its app to Kik and Slack, and will soon connect into Facebook Messenger.
