Hi Frank, I remember you were interested in Bantam Instruments products at one time. The make handheld spectrum analyzers. I gave a demo at one of the Pasadena Meetings.
I think they have Wattmeter capability, but not positive. Check them out. They support all the frequency ranges requested below, but not sure if all in a single unit. http://www.bantaminstruments.com/ Tim McGrath ----- Original Message ----- From: Richard To: [email protected] Sent: Saturday, January 20, 2007 12:11 PM Subject: [SOCALWUG] Re: Looking For WiFi Wattmeter I was lookin' around and found: http://www.bvsystems.com/Products/WLAN/YJ802.11bg/YJ802.11bg.htm What is the price-range you are thinking, Frank? Price sure seems to drive the features/portability designs of this stuff, and the used market is not really there yet. I am looking for an IFR 1200S but don't want to spend $8K for one... I know that Bird has these. But they seem to only go up to 2.4GHz. I Also found these at around $1,400: http://www.praxsym.com/pm2458.html Does anyone know of such a beast? Or will I need to build one of these: http://www.qsl.net/n9zia/wireless/appendixF.html#10 Frank Keeney Blog: http://www.unwiredadventures.com Work: http://www.wlanparts.com Photos: http://snurl.com/unwirephotos -- "It ain't ignorance that causes all the troubles in this world, it's the things that people know that ain't so."
