2 problems:
1) Block secure webpage requests No more hotmail or yahoo
for me - I sign in in secure mode, ALWAYS. I'm sure there are
many other valid secure pages not related to sales.
2) Power, needs to be nearly the same at both ends, in order to
have the range be 2-way. KNX radio blasts out 50,000 watts,
but they don't need anyone to talk back to them. If I heard
them in Fresno, how much power will my wi-fi card need to broadcast
to get 2-way?
Cell Phone systems manage on a couple of watts, otherwise the
base stations would never hear the handhelds. They do put an
extremly low noise preamp in the RX path, sort of makes up for the
low power handset, but again, too much power, and they wipe out the
other cell sites.
