Staing is not where we have active maintainers in the area of concern.
For CAN this is simple. Wolfgang does all the heavy lifting so
whatever he prefer and what is the easiest for him counts.
If we do not like svn - we can set up a private svn<->git or
whatever. We just cannot push work towards wolgang.
He has to push work downwards.
