Just did a quick test.  I get identical results (29.4 Mbits/sec)  
under FreeBSD 6.2 (with pfSense).  But still plenty quick enough for  
my ADSL, and of course it is a lower-power processor.

The net5501 is faster: an earlier post to this list reported that the  
5501 could fill 100 Mbit Ethernet.
