comBIOS revision 1.32 includes some fixes to detect SATA drives,
not ATA ones.  I think that it does not include any change that
will benefit the net4801.  I am sure, Soren will release a new
comBIOS for the net4801 if there is any change that will benefit
this board.

Do you have a CF card installed on the net4801?  You will probably
need to set up the HDD to cable-select to be able to swap the CF/HDD
settings from the comBIOS.  Perhaps both devices are set to master
right now.

Don't know about Fedora, other net4801 owners are running Linux on
these embedded computers; perhaps another flavour.  However, BSDs
(e.g., OpenBSD) are excellent choices for Soekris computers.
