Hmmm... looking carefully at the pictures, it seems that it is not really faced down, the left side of the mounting kit has a hole on it to fit the power and SATA connectors. René Luckow's pictures will probably help routing the cables and placing the disk on the right holes (however, it seems that your disk is using the right holes for a SATA drive now). I was confused by the way the HDD mounting kit on the net4801 is installed (i.e., over the mounting kit, not under it) and the fact that it seems there is some free space between the disk and the top cover of the net5501 case. You are right, from the pictures you provided it seems that there is no much space between the board and the disk drive. Best regards, Igor.
