[Soekris] Console connection

Hello all,

I just receibe my new soekris 5501 box. This is the first one soekris box I
have.
I'm trying to conect against the soekris box using a serial cable and from
the windows application called "hyperterminal".

I get connected, but all in the screen appears is unreadble. Something like
that:

This should be the soekris startup.
My parameters from the hyperterminal are, Baud Rate= 19200, Data= 8 bits,
Parity= none, Stop= 1Bit, Flow control= None and as terminal VT100.

What I am doing worng? Why I cannot see clearly the startup screen?

Any clue will be welcomed.
