These will be running OpenBSD. I'll keep the Keyspan adapters in mind, but they do have 3 physical parts. Firmware is a fourth part... Right now of the 1-piece units, I see this one: http://www.serialgear.com/4-Port-Serial-USB-USBG-4X232.html It uses the "prolific" chipset, for what that's worth.
