Maybe there are ANSI codes in the boot menu that are affecting your terminal emulator?

It boots up alright, DHCP and TFTP work, but then the console output is crippled to a 1x15 character line. How can I change this? Here's what it looks like: ----8<--------8<--------8<--------8<--------8<--------8<--------8<---- > boot f0 NSC DP83815/DP83816 Fast Ethernet UNDI, v1.03 Copyright (C) 2002, 2003 National Semiconductor Corporation All rights reserved. Pre-boot eXecution Environment PXE-2.0 (build 082) Copyright (C) 1997-2000 Intel Corporation CLIENT MAC ADDR: 00 00 24 C2 3F E0 CLIENT IP: 192.168.1.9 MASK: 255.255.255.0 DHCP IP: 192.168.1.36 GATEWAY IP: 192.168.1.1 memtestux.cfg/d ----8<--------8<--------8<--------8<--------8<--------8<--------8<---- The very last line: memtestux.cfg/d ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Is where all output (boot.txt and so on) appears. I know that it's getting the correct output as I have logged the minicom transfer and that looks fine. Only output is scrambled. Any ideas?
