Hi, I have two net5501 (Bios 1.33) of which one works fine (as far as I can see) but the other does not even come up with the BIOS Post messages. I had it working before but after a reboot (where I had removed a USB2.0-CF reader) it will just light up power and red error- LEDs and sit there for ever. No activity on the serial port. It does not respond to the reset switch (BIOS Setting: Hard reset).
I tried again 12 hours later after having it sit over night with no power connected and it worked on Friday. It went into the I-don't-do- no-nothing mode again on Friday afternoon, now it is Monday and it won't boot again. I'm using SanDisk Extreme III CF cards which work well in other devices. Question: Is there any way I can truly hard-reset the system? Question2: Is this the behavior menat by "periodic power up problems" in issue 0007? Thanks a lot for your help.
