It appears that the 'hang' is when control is transferred from the Bios code to the code on your CF disk (yes??)
There does seem to be a problem with the 133 bios - upgrading to 133c may solve your problem. See my recent posts on this list for my own path to bios upgrade. I had difficulty with minicom and success with hyperterminal on a Windows machine.
