Actually, if charged *correctly*, it is likely ti last significantly
longer than the deep-cycle battery.

But you have to deal with all the hydrogen, refill water etc etc.

BTW: I can highly recommend surfing the archived papers of the
"Stationary Battery Conference":

It gives a much clearer idea of what is actual science and what
is just handwaving.  Surprising amounts of the latter...
