Hello,

Is it possible to power off a net5501 box by software (eg: shutdown -h
now), and maybe also power it back on using wake-on-lan?

Is it possible to access the BIOS after the OS is running? I'm
thinking of Sun machines, in which you can hit stop-a on the keyboard
to interrupt the OS and go back to the PROM, and then resume OS
execution at any time, or reboot, or power off the machine. If using
a serial console one could send a break signal to go to the PROM as
well.
Break signals seem to be ignored by my net5501.

If all this is not currently implemented, I would like to suggest this
for future versions of the hardware (or firmware?).

Thanks
