Thanks Michael and Darrick for your observation, and I really hope its it. I haven't used the FXS modules yet. Are they still drawing power when not in use? From previous messages in the mailing list I thought they drew 3 watts each and only when ringing an analog phone, but I have no way to confirm it. I calculated they drew 0.5 Amps, so I bought the 2 Amp * 12 Volts = 24 Watts. Does anybody have any measurement/experience on power usage per FXS module? What power supply are you people using in these cases? How about the temperature, is 70 degrees celsius permissible? Should I get the heatsinks anyway? Thanks again, I hope this is the problem.
