Okay, we're going to look for those cards (our usual provider has only Kingston stuff). Thanks to the list members for all the data. Currently no more FS corruption (since our last message, Aug 26th). BUT we now get total freezes during backups (maybe not related to disk issues, more like memory exhaustion).
