Yes. I need a VDSL2 capable modem. But it remains from the different replies that off-piste skiing here can be or become touchy in case of trouble in the future. I'm inclined to believe it (in the FAQ of another Belgian ISP, the client's modem is at his own risks). So, I will probably stay with the recommended one.
