Hi,
I've bought a Soekris NET6501-70 (Intel 80GB M-SATA build-in) but I am
confused. The Soekris was intended to replace my Flepo Mini PC (N270, 2GB Mem,
120GB Disk).

But everything on the Soekris seems to be much slower. For example the
compiling of my kernel takes much longer (The kernelconfig is nearly the same!):

Flepo Mini PC:
make -j3
real 31m55.506s
user 50m38.820s
sys 3m42.640s

Soekris NET6501:
make -j3
real 71m20.791s
user 127m41.920s
sys 12m33.629s

Booting also take about 15-20 Seconds longer.. Its like the CPU would be much
slower, but according to the specs, this should not be. The older N270 has also
HT..

I am using 64-Bit. Is this maybe the problem, as the CPU does officially not
support 64-Bit?

Anybody an idea, whats going on?
Thanks!

Conrad
