The error message can be interpreted this way. However, I'm unsure
however, why the mSATA stops working only every 2 weeks.

Are you running pfSense full installation or nanoBSD. A shot in the
dark: The full installation crashed the mSATA.

I've been making good experiences with pfSense nanoBSD on a compact
flash card installed in my net6501. I love those nanoBSD versions with
two boot slices and limited write operations.

When I ordered my net6501-70 I also first thought about ordering an
mSATA. However, I've read about many mSATAs failing from various
vendors on different systems. That's why I decided against it.

I'm afraid, you can narrow down the error only by exchanging the mSATA.
In a first step I would try a cheaper USB stick. And just to stay on
the safe side: Try a nanoBSD installation with it.

May be you could also open a thread in the pfSense forum about your
issue. There are many users running soekris installations.

Regards,
Peter
