So how user programmable FPGA is for now, after 3 years of production?
At least official acknowledge about non usable feature asked too much?
We all know, that s..t happens sometimes when designing eleectronics,

There's no rule that you have to like Soren or Soekris - but hanging out
on a help/support forum for a product to advise everyone to use
something else is a classic dick move.

_User to user_ forum, NOT official support. So there is nothing wrong
with my answer.
I tried to use net5501 boards, really tried before giving up. But i
can't recommeend Soekris boards not for more than SoHo router, where
only way is automatic reboot by watchdog or physically move to on site
for pulling the plug.
