Hello David, What errors are you seeing on the console at boot time? When working with binary images for Soekris boxen on Windows (M0n0wall or flashrd, for example), I've used physdiskwrite almost exclusively and it works fine- http://m0n0.ch/wall/physdiskwrite.php Eric
