I had one of these die about a year ago. Much discussion and sharing of info on
the list but radio silence from Soekris folks. Some on the list gave Advice to
send the dead board in, but no guarantee from the company that I could expect
anything more than a postal charge by providing them with something that they
should be keenly interested in - an example of a product of their's that's
failed in the field. By this I was left with the impression that this data was
not welcome nor appreciated, and that ultimately the least important thing in
all of this was my customer experience.

I currently have a couple of net5501's still in production and so have
continued to monitor this list, but have no further interest in dealing with
these folks.
