I certainly would be interested in your SDRadio code in BASIC.
I might allow me to see how some of the signal processing is done, and I think it would be very interesting.
I took a quick look at PureBasic, and will download the demo version. Is the full version required to run your code?
Like you, I may not get too much time to devote to this, but I think the experimenting could be a lot of fun.
Thanks for making this available as a starting point for some of the rest of us. And also, Thank You to Alberto (I2PHD) for allowing us to learn from his original efforts.
Please let me know when the files are available for download.

Subject: Re: [soft_radio] SDRadio software
Hello all,
A while back Alberto (I2PHD) was kind enough to give me his source code for SDRadio.
Unfortunately, to compile Alberto's program requires Borland Cbuilder Version 6 and Borland no longer has the free version on the web site and I could not afford to buy it. So I ported the software to a basic compiler called "PureBasic" details at http://www.purebasic.com/ .
I know it's basic and not C but it was cheap. When I started the compiler was $69.00 US however, the new version (V4) is now $99.00 US. This is still a lot cheaper than Cbuilder.
I have no relationship to Purebasic, I just stumbled across it and it was inexpensive with a lot of good capabilities and life time upgrades.
I have most of the program ported to Purebasic and it runs, but my time is limited and it will take me quite some time to finish. I have other commitments coming up in the next few months which will preclude me from working on the program.
If anyone is interested and like me would like to tinker with a SDR program I will post my entire source in the files section. I have already asked Alberto and he has not objections.
It is a plain jane user interface but has most of the features of SDRadio But lacks the eye candy.
NOTE:
I do not intend to develop or support this program I just wanted to tinker with an SDR program.
I am willing to share the code with others who would like to tinker with software using inexpensive software tools.
The only reason I am doing this now is that upcoming commitments are going to slow my development and the price of the compiler keeps increasing with each new release and soon it will not be inexpensive (hi hi).
Let me know if there is any interest!
