Dear Alberto,
As I am starting to build your project of SDR, I want advice on a few things.
I hope you will not mind a few minutes off. My computer is as follows:

IBM Labtop with 1.4 GHZ celeron, 256 MB Ram, 40 GB HDD. I have downloaded
WinRAD 1.22 and already have Adobe Audition 1.5. Please advice me on the sound
card to be used, and the hardware design given by YU1LM will do fine or not.

  waiting for your reply.

Hidehiko-san,

That error message is issued by Winrad when the ASIO call

loadAsioDriver (asioName)

fails. I get an error return code from that API call, and then I issue
the error message to the user. The return code from the API does not
say which the cause of the error is.
What I can suggest you is to check the driver installation of the
Audigy 2 NX sound card, maybe repeat it, and, if you have another
program that can make use of the ASIO drivers of the card, check if
that program works with them. A couple of such programs could be the
Cubase program from Steinberg, or the Adobe Audition 2.0
Be warned that in the case of Adobe Audition you need the V2, as
Audition V1.5 does not use the ASIO drivers, just the MME

Please report here (or in the Winrad discussion group) the results of
your tests, thanks.

Good luck
