Dear Kamal, the HW projects of YU1LM are very good, and they use the sound card as a digitizer for the audio data, so they can be used with either SDRadio or Winrad. Your PC seems to be adequate, you won't have a very high scrolling speed with Winrad with just 1.4 GHz, but the essential is to hear, seeing is of a lesser relevance...:-) Adobe Audition can be of help just to check if the sound card works, but otherwise it is not needed. About the sound card, being yours a laptop, yo will need an external one, USB or Firewire. A good one that I have tested, albeit limited to 48 kHz sampling, is the Alesis IO|2, which is very quiet, low noise and absence of spurs. But the market can offer other sound cards, worse or better, it all depends on the budget that you have allocated for it. Good luck, 73 Alberto I2PHD
