Hi again Jean-Claude, I have just performed a test, clicking consecutively more than one hundred times on the Zap button, both with the CW Peak function engaged and not, but I have been unable to reproduce that glitch... can you test on another PC to see if the problem is specific to the one you are using now ? And, is there anybody else using V1.23 and having this problem ? > While playing around to see what effect have this Zap problem I also > discovered something broken with the filters. > > One of the first things I did when listening to the contest was to > change the CW tone to 600Hz (601 exactly) and reduce the filter to > 200 Hz. What I did was the following : - Reset Winrad to the default settings, using the button in the Options menu. - Choose the CW mode, and set the CW pitch to 601 Hz and the passband to 200 Hz. - Then I closed down Winrad with the Exit button. _ I restarted Winrad, and pressed the Start button. CW pitch was at 601 Hz and the passband was at 200 Hz... LSB and USB passband was at the default value of 200 - 3800 Hz.... What do you obtain if you do exactly the same procedure ? > I also noticed that the help screen says: > Version 1.28 will expire on May 31, 2007 > > I guess it is Version 1.23 Build 28. Yes, that was a typing error... I am correcting it just now. Thanks for the report. 73 Alberto I2PHD
