Hi Larry, when writing 'badly designed' I was not referring specifically to the soft66, but it was a general sentence. While I haven't personally tested that kit, I read of many good experiences with it. About Winrad, the only alternative to releasing the source would be to let it die, which, IMHO, is even worse. There are good reasons why I don't want to work on it anymore, and I think that allowing those who can and are willing to improve it, is the best solution. There will be two forms of releasing the source code. Those who want and like to participate in a joint development effort, can (will be able to) access an SVN repository that will be hosted by the winrad.org Web site. Those who just want to browse the code for curiosity, or to do a development of their own, without being involved in a joint development effort, will be able to download from the weaksignals.com Web site a ZIP file containing all what is needed to compile Winrad (compiler excluded, of course, being it commercial). The ZIP will be freely downloadable, no questions asked, no need to register anywhere. 73 Alberto I2PHD
