With respect, 0.1Hz does not seem to be anywhere near the limit for frequency resolution these days. I wonder how close ZL1BPU actually got? Using SpecLab and a simple GPS derived marker I have been unable to see any difference between my marker and RWM on 4996KHz with 0.01Hz resolution. I can not claim any experience with competitions, we don't have any here, and on-air does require a stable signal. While, no doubt, an SDR program could have this resolution maybe other methods could be used for this specialised application? 73 Alan G4ZFQ
