I have slightly scoliosis and I suffer from back pain from time to time. The cheap chair I was using was killing me so I decided to buy a new chair and I chose a duorest. About US$400 in Amazon Japan. It's double back ( double pad) forces me to sit straight and (maybe) helps my back to not get worse.
It gave me back pain in the first few weeks though. I guess it was too severe for my curved spine, but after a few weeks the pain was gone. It's not the most comfortable chair I tried and is a little hot in summer but I haven't had severe back pain in the last few months and I'm working about 13-14 hours everyday lately so I guess it's not bad.
