Thanks everybody again. I was hesitant bumping my own thread since it feels like bad form, but enough people did in the last few hours I might as well tag along.
I got plenty interest in private and here to decide I'll do something. My previous workshop should come out soon enough in non-assisted form for a fraction of the price, and talking to the guys at CGS if that does anywhere decent there would be no problems coming out with material in video/literature form, with a similar format to the workshop, but without forums and deadlines (but of course with no direct assistance/dialogue either) for a much more affordable price than workshops have. At this point, pending the above outcome, it sounds likely that instead of siphoning people for hundreds of dollars for the entry-level to mid level workshops (I was struggling putting together a curriculum justifying the price at that level, and even a 10 weeks one doesn't feel like enough to cover the whole stretch from basics to things such as advanced deformation) there will be one or two releases for rigging fundamentals and dev process, and one for maths in what they call TOD format. That should create the base to offer a proper, assisted workshop on more advanced topics later on. I'll keep the list updated if and when anything happens, but I'm confident something will :) On Fri, Mar 1, 2013 at 2:21 PM, Waylon Winn <[email protected]> wrote: > I am interested as well.**** > > ** ** > > :D**** > > ** ** > > *From:* [email protected] [mailto: > [email protected]] *On Behalf Of *Marco Peixoto > *Sent:* Wednesday, February 27, 2013 5:41 AM > *To:* [email protected] > *Subject:* Re: Interest/Opinions on a (possible) rigging workshop**** > > ** ** > > > Interested :)**** > -- Our users will know fear and cower before our software!
